Bangladesh was born as an independent country on 16th December 1971, under the leadership of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, at the cost of the supreme sacrifice of more than three million people and the honor and pride of half a million women. Every year, the people of Bangladesh commemorate this anniversary by recalling the sacrifices and triumphs of the 1971 independence warriors. CEGIS also celebrated National Victory Day like in previous years. Mr. Malik Fida A Khan, Executive Director of CEGIS, and colleagues paid respect by placing wreaths at the National Memorial in Savar, Dhaka. Following their homage, CEGIS professionals stood somber silence for a few minutes to pay their respects to the nation's martyrs.
