Career Summary

Mr. Dash has been working at the Center for Environmental and Geographical Information Services (CEGIS) since April 2019 under the Remote Sensing Division as a Research Consultant. He has over seven years of professional experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS), with strong expertise in satellite image processing, land use and land cover (LULC) mapping, spatial database management, and geospatial analysis.

Since his undergraduate studies, he has been actively engaged in GIS and Remote Sensing applications. He is proficient in industry-standard tools including ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, Google Earth Engine, and ERDAS Imagine, along with advanced skills in Python-based geospatial automation and machine learning applications.

His professional experience includes working on national-scale land use mapping, environmental assessment, disaster management, and natural resource management projects, contributing to data-driven decision-making and sustainable development initiatives.
